This is a game-used Kansas City Royals jersey worn by Matt Stairs. Stairs played for the Royals from 2005 - 2006, and this jersey could be from either season.

Matt Stairs was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015.

Description

This is a blue button-down polyester jersey. There are six blue plastic buttons down the placket. The jersey has white lettering applique with a black shadow-effect outline on the front and the reverse. The front reads "Royals" across the centre in script, with the number "12" beneath the letter "als". The reverse reads "Stairs" across the top in plain white applique with no black outline, on a blue patch, and there is a large "12" at the centre which has the black shadow outline. The proper left sleeve has a white embroidered "Majestic" logo. Both sleeves have a black mesh strip underneath the arm, where the sleeve is affixed to the body, and a thin black stripe along the front of each sleeve, by the shoulder and running to the lower hem. There is a smooth white "Majestic" patch on the proper left shirt tail. A small white flag tag is affixed to the proper left side hem which has the size "50" indicated. There is a black, white, and silver patch with the MLB logo affixed to the reverse of the collar.

Un chandail bleu à boutons, fabriqué en polyester. Il y a six boutons transparents en plastique sur la platte. Sur les deux côtés, il y a des appliqués en blanc avec un peu de noir qui trace le contour des appliqués. À l’avant, on trouve le nom « Royals » et le numéro « 12 », mais à l’arrière, il y a le nom « Stairs » et le numéro « 12 ». La manche gauche montre un logo de « Majestic » brodé en blanc. Les deux manches ont une rayure du filet noir au-dessus du bras, où la manche est attachée au corps. La rayure continue jusqu’au fin du chandail. Sur le pan de chemise gauche, il y a un écusson doux de « Majestic », avec une petite étiquette auquel elle est attachée. Sur l’étiquette, elle montre la taille de « 50 ». De l’autre côté du col, il y a un logo de la MLB en noir, blanc et argenté.
