This is a 1980 Steve Rogers Montreal Expos game-used and autographed jersey.

Rogers was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005. Rogers played in Montreal for his entire 13 season Major League career, from 1973-1985.

Description

This is a white polyester button-down jersey. There are six yellow-white plastic buttons down the placket. The jersey has blue lettering applique on the front and reverse. The front lettering reads "expos" on the proper left breast, and the number "45" across from this on the proper right breast. A blue, red, and white patch with the "Montreal Expos" logo is affixed to the jersey above the word "expos". The reverse reads "Rogers" and "45". The proper right shirt tail has a red patch stitched on the inside of the jersey. This patch has the "Rawlings" logo and the size "42" indicated. There is a small white flag tag stitched to the proper left edge of the patch. This flag tag has the text "Set 1 1980" printed on it in black. There is a blue stripe and a red stripe along the shoulders and both the left and right side hems. Each of these stripes is 2.5cm wide. Steve Rogers autographed the front of the jersey in blue-black marker, above the number "45", and autographed the reverse of the jersey between the name and jersey number.

Un chandail blanc à boutons, fabriqué en polyester. Il y a six boutons blancs en plastique sur la platte. Sur les deux côtés, il y a des appliqués bleus. À l’avant du chandail, on trouve le mot « expos » , un numéro « 45 » et un écusson avec le logo des Expos de Montréal. À l’arrière, il y a le nom « Rogers » et le numéro « 45 ». À l’intérieur du pan de chemise droite montre un écusson rouge avec le logo de « Rawlings » et la taille de « 44 » et une petite étiquette qui dit « Set 1 1980 » fixée sur le deuxième écusson. Sur les épaules et les côtés du chandail, on trouve une rayure bleue et une rayure rouge. Chaque rayure mesure 2,5 cm en largeur. Au-dessous le numéro « 6 » au front de ce chandail et à l’arrière en dessous de son nom, Steve Rogers a autographié son nom en feutre noir.
