History |
This base was used for the first 2021 Toronto Blue Jays game played at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario. The Toronto Blue Jays started the 2021 season in Dunedin, Florida at their spring training ballpark, TD Ballpark. The Blue Jays played 38 games there, before moving to Sahlen Field in Buffalo, New York. On July 30, 2021, the Toronto Blue Jays were finally able to return to the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, for the first time since the 2019 season. |

C’est un but du premier match au Centre Rogers des Blue Jays de Toronto en 2021. Les Blue Jays ont commencé leur saison 2021 au stade du camp d’entraînement à Dunedin, TD Ballpark. Ils ont disputé 38 matchs ici avant de déménager à Sahlen Field, à Buffalo au New York. Description |
This is a white square rubber base with a convex quilted texture top. The centre of the base has the MLB logo and manufacturer information in raised text. On each side of the base there are blue plastic stickers which have an outline of the Toronto city skyline, and the word "HOME" printed on them in white. The Toronto Blue Jays logo is used as the letter "O". The underside of the base has a white metal portion at its centre, bolted into place, which has a white metal stem extending out from the base 14cm, causing the base to no longer lie flat. This stem would have been used to affix the base to the field. In one corner of the underside of the base is a silver MLB authenticity hologram sticker. The hologram number is "JD 831264". There is a warning sticker on the bottom of the base with safety information, printed in red. The text "2nd 1-3" is handwritten in black marker near the metal stem. |

Un but carré fabriqué en caoutchouc blanc avec un dessus convexe à texture matelassée. Le centre du but contient le logo de la MLB et les informations du fabricant en texte en relief. Sur les deux côtés opposés du but, on trouve des autocollants en plastique bleu qui montrent l’horizon de Toronto du mot « HOME » (chez nous). Le logo des Blue Jays se trouve dans la lettre « O ». Le dessous de la base contient une partie en métal blanc en son centre, boulonnée en place, qui a une tige en métal blanc s'étendant de la base de 14 cm, ce qui fait que le but ne repose plus à plat. Cette tige aurait servi à fixer le but au champ. Dans un coin du dessous du but, on trouve un autocollant d’authenticité holographique de la MLB. Le numéro d'authenticité est « JD 831264 ». Il y a un autocollant d'avertissement au bas du but avec des informations de sécurité imprimées en rouge. Le texte « 2nd 1-3 » est écrit à la main en feutre noir près de la tige en métal. |
