History |
This bat was made in Canada by a Canadian company, Cooper. This is a Roberto Alomar model bat. Roberto Alomar is a former professional baseball player. Alomar played for the Toronto Blue Jays from 1991-1995 and was on both the 1992 and 1993 World Series Championship teams. Alomar is a twelve-time All-Star, a ten-time Gold Glove Award winner, and a four-time Silver Slugger Award winner. Alomar was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2010, the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown in 2011, and had his number retired by the Toronto Blue Jays after his Cooperstown induction in 2011. |

Ce bâton canadien est fabriqué par une entreprise canadienne, Cooper. Le modèle de ce bâton est « Roberto Alomar ». Roberto Alomar est un ancien joueur professionnel de baseball. De 1991 à 1995, il joue pour les Blue Jays de Toronto, où il a remporté la Série mondiale avec l’équipe en 1992 et en 1993. Étoilé douze fois, Alomar a aussi remporté dix Gants dorés et quatre Bâtons d’argents. En 2010, Alomar est intronisé au Temple de la renommée et musée du baseball canadien. L’année prochaine, il est intronisé au Temple de la renommée du baseball à Cooperstown. Après son intronisation à Cooperstown, son numéro est retiré par les Blue Jays de Toronto. |
Description |
This is a light brown bat with a varnished barrel and unvarnished handle. There is a black Cooper logo printed at the centre of the barrel with text which indicates the bat was made in Canada. The words "Cooper Pro 100" and "Roberto Alomar" are engraved in black near the end of the barrel. The text "34 1/2 31 1/2 O" is stamped in black on the base of the knob. The end of the bat is scooped. |

Un bâton brun clair. Le bout est vernissé, mais le manche n’est pas vernissé. Au centre du bout, on trouve le nom et le logo du fabricant « Cooper » écrit en noir. Selon le texte, on a fabriqué ce bâton au Canada. Aux bords du bout, on a gravé en noir le nom « Roberto Alomar » et le modèle du bâton « Cooper Pro 100 ». On a estampillé en noir les numéros « 34 1/2 31 1/2 O » au bouton du bâton. Le bout est concave. |
