This Montreal Expos pin has an image of Gary Carter on the front, and his position and average on the back. The pin is a limited edition, and is number 3 of 133. Gary Carter was the best catcher in Expos' history. He participated in 7 All-Star Games with the Expos, playing for the team from 1974-1984, and again in 1992, his final season. Carter was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown in 2003. He had his number retired by the Expos in 2003. |

En 2001, Carter est intronisé au Temple de la renommée et musée du baseball canadien, puis au Temple de la renommée du baseball à Cooperstown en 2003. L’équipe a retiré son numéro en 2003. |

The back of the pin is silver and has a safety pin closure. The back has the text "Fun [F]oods", "NO. 3 OF 133", "CATCHER AVG .294" and "1984 MLBPA" printed on it, above an MLB logo. |

Un bouton de fixation métallique. Il est bordé en bleu. Le texte blanc sur le bouton dit « GARY CARTER » et « MONTREAL EXPOS ». Gary Carter sourit dans l’image au milieu du bouton. Il porte un uniforme des Mets de New York dans la photo. L’arrière du bouton est argenté. Le bouton est attaché à l’aide d’une épingle de sûreté. L’arrière dit « FUN FOODS / NO. 3 OF 133 / CATCHER AVG .294 / 1984 MLBPA » (Fun Foods / Numéro 3 de 133 / Moyenne au bâton du receveur .294 / L’association des joueurs de la Ligue majeure de baseball 1984). |
