History |
Joe Carter played for the Toronto Blue Jays from 1991-1997. He is a five-time All-Star, all representing the Toronto Blue Jays, a two-time World Series Champion, and a two-time Silver Slugger Award winner. In the 1993 World Series, Carter hit a walk-off home run to win the championship for the Toronto Blue Jays. Carter is one of only two players to end a world series with a home run. The Toronto Blue Jays added Carter's name to their Level of Excellence. Carter was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003. |
