Maxim St. Pierre is a Canadian professional baseball player from Quebec City. St. Pierre wore this glove in his MLB debut on September 4, 2010 for the Detroit Tigers. St. Pierre spent 14 seasons in the farm systems of the Milwaukee Brewers and Detroit Tigers. He began his career in 1997 as a 26th round pick assigned to rookie ball in the Gulf Coast League. He was promoted to AAA, in Toledo, in 2002. From 2002 - 2010, St. Pierre bounced between the Detroit Tigers AA affiliate, the Erie Sea Wolves, and the Toledo Mud Hens. St. Pierre recorded his first major league hit, a single, in his first game, against the Kansas City Royals. |

Maxim St. Pierre est un joueur de baseball professionnel canadien, né à la ville de Québec. Le 4 septembre 2010, St. Pierre a porté ce gant en faisant ses débuts dans la MLB contre les Tigers de Detroit. Pendant 14 saisons, St. Pierre joue aux Ligues mineures pour les Brewers de Milwaukee et les Tigers de Detroit. En 1997, il a été sélectionné au 26e tour du repêchage amateur et il a été envoyé au « Gulf Coast League ». En 2002, il a été promu au niveau Triple-A à Toledo. De 2002 à 2010, St. Pierre joue entre les Sea Wolves d’Erie (le niveau Double-A des Tigers) et les Mud Hens de Toledo. St. Pierre a frappé son premier coup sûr lors de son premier match contre les Royals de Kansas City. |
Description |
This is a light brown and black leather glove with black stitching. The glove is for a left hand. The back of the thumb has the words "Pro-Elite" embroidered in yellow thread. Above this, Maxim St. Pierre autographed the glove in silver marker, including the text "First MLB game 09-04-2010". The wrist strap has a metal buckle and black velcro and a gold and red "All-Star" logo embroidered into it. The inside of the wrist strap has a sheepskin layer. The word "All-Star" is printed in gold on the pinky finger, along with the words "Made in Japan". The palm side of the glove has faded text. |

Un gant aux dentelles noires, fabriqué en cuir marron clair et noir. C’est un gant qui lance de la Droite. À l’arrière du pouce, on trouve les mots « Pro-Elite » brodé en jaune. Au-dessous de ce texte, Max St. Pierre a signé le gant et il a écrit la phrase « First MLB game 09-04-2010 » (premier match dans la MLB 09-04-2010) en feutre argenté. Le serrage du poignent a une boucle en métal, du ruban autoagrippant noir et un logo brodé en doré et rouge de « All-Star ». À l’intérieur du serrage du poignet, il y a une doublure en peau de mouton. Sur le petit doigt, on a écrit le mot « All-Star » et la phrase « Made in Japan » (fabriqué au Japon). La paume du gant contient quelques mots qui sont ternis. |
