Jimmy Williams donated this replica trophy to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum when he was inducted in 1991. This replica trophy was given to all members of the World Series champion team in 1983. The Baltimore Orioles defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 4 games to 1 to win the World Series. |

Description |
This is a gold and black replica World Series trophy which has three parts. The base of the trophy is black with a gold band around it. It is circular and has 26 gold flagpoles around the edge, with small triangle flags at their tops. Each of these flags has the name of a Major League Baseball team printed in black. There is a gap between the flagpoles at the front of the trophy, and the flagpoles increase in height moving to the back of the circle. At the gap between the flags, there are two small pins, one with the Baltimore Orioles logo and the words "Baltimore's Sixth World Series", and the other with the Philadelphia Phillies logo and the text "Phillies World Series 1883 1983 100", celebrating 100 years of World Series. The bottom of the trophy has a blue and white sticked affixed to it reading "Awards by Balfour", as well as a piece of white velcro, and four pieces of black felt. Part b of the trophy is a small silver metal baseball. It has stitches etched into the ball to look like a baseball, and has a metal bolt screwed into the bottom of it. Part c of the trophy is a gold ring. This ring has a golden crown bolted to the top of it, and sits at the centre of the trophy with the baseball at its centre. |

Une réplique d'un trophée doré et noir de la série mondiale qui contient trois parties. Le bas du trophée est noir avec une ligne dorée qui l’encercle. Son bas est rond et contient 26 mâts dorés avec des drapeaux triangulaires qui traversent le bord. On trouve le nom de chaque équipe de la ligue majeure de baseball écrit en noir sur chaque drapeau. Dans le vide entre les drapeaux, il y a deux petits épingles. La première épingle contient le logo des Orioles de Baltimore et la phrase « Baltimore's Sixth World Series » (la sixième série mondiale de Baltimore). La deuxième contient le logo des Phillies de Philadelphie et la phrase « Phillies World Series 1883 1983 100 » (les séries mondiales des Phillies 1883 1983 100), ce qui commémore un siècle de la Série mondiale. Une languette bleue et blanche qui dit « Awards by Balfour » (les prix de Balfour) est fixée sur le bas de trophée, ainsi qu’une bande de velcro et quatre morceaux de feutre noir. La partie « b » du trophée a un petit baseball gris argenté en métal. Il y a de petites gravures qui ressemblent à des points. On trouve aussi une vis sur le bas. La partie « c » du trophée est une bague dorée. Une couronne dorée est vissée sur le dessus avec un baseball dans le centre de la couronne. |
