History

Michael Barrett began his major league career at age 18 with the Montreal Expos. He started as a third baseman, though the majority of his career he was a catcher. Barrett played for the Montreal Expos from 1998-2003, and played for the Toronto Blue Jays in 2009.

Description

This is a grey nylon button-down jersey. There are six dark grey buttons down the placket. The jersey has red lettering applique with a blue and white outline on the front and reverse. The front reads "Montreal" in script with the number "5" under the letters "al". Above the letter "e" is a white patch with a blue embroidered fleur-de-lis. The reverse of the jersey reads "Barrett" across the top, with a larger "5" at the centre. The edges of the sleeves are bordered by one thick red and one thick blue stripe with a thin white stripe between these. The proper left sleeve has a red, blue, and white circular patch with the "Montreal Expos" logo. Beneath this patch is a blue and red embroidered "Russell Athletic" logo. The reverse of the collar has a white, blue, and red patch with the MLB logo. The proper left shirt tail has a white patch with the "Russell Athletic" logo and care information. There are two flag tags affixed to the bottom of this patch with fabric information, the size "48", and alterations to the jersey.

Un chandail gris à boutons, fabriqué en nylon. Il y a six boutons gris sur la platte. Sur les deux côtés, il y a un appliqué en rouge avec un peu de bleu et blanc qui trace le contour de l’appliqué. À l’avant du chandail, on trouve le mot « Montréal » et un petit numéro « 5 », mais à l’arrière, il y a le nom « Barrett » et un plus grand numéro « 5 ».
