Dave McKay was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in 2001.

Description

This is a white button-down polyester jersey. There are six clear plastic buttons down the placket. The jersey has red lettering applique with a black outline on the front and reverse. The lettering on the front is embroidered while the lettering on the reverse is not. The reverse reads "McKay" at the top, with a large number "39" underneath at the centre. The front reads "Cardinals" under a gold baseball bat with two red cardinals perched on either end, facing each other. The number "39" is affixed below the "nals", and is in the same style as the reverse applique, not embroidered like the word "Cardinals" is. There is a small red embroidered "Majestic" logo on the proper left sleeve, as well as a white, green, and gold "World Series 2011" patch affixed above this. There is a small dark navy, white, and red embroidered patch with the MLB logo affixed to the reverse shirt collar. There is a patch affixed to the proper left shirt tail with a "Majestic" logo and the size "48" printed on it. The left shirt hem has a small flag tag with the words "Cool Base" and a "Majestic" logo.

Un chandail blanc à boutons, fabriqué en polyester. Il y a six boutons transparents en plastique sur la platte. Sur les deux côtés, il y a des appliqués rouges et dorés avec un peu de noir qui trace le contour des appliqués. À l’avant, on trouve le mot « Cardinals » avec un bâton jaune et deux cardinaux brodés puis le numéro « 39 ». À l’arrière, il y a le nom « McKay » et encore le numéro « 39 ». La manche gauche contient le logo de « Majestic » brodé en rouge et un écusson qui commémore le « World Series 2011 » (la Série mondiale de 2011) en blanc, vert et doré. Sur l’autre côté du col, on trouve un écusson avec le logo de la MLB en bleu foncé, blanc et rouge. Il y a un écusson sur le pan de chemise gauche avec le logo de « Majestic » et la taille de « 48 ». À l’intérieur du chandail, on trouve une petite étiquette avec les mots « Cool Base » et un logo de « Majestic ».
