These gloves were worn by Joey Votto on September 17, 2011. He received his 105th walk of the 2011 season. This walk tied Jack Graney (he walked a league-leading 105 times in 1919 with Cleveland) for all time walks in a single season by a Canadian. Three games later, in a game against the Astros on September 20, 2011, Votto was walked for the 106th time that season. In total he walked a league-leading 110 times in 2011. Joey Votto is a Canadian Professional Baseball Player from Toronto, ON. Votto has played his entire career spanning 16 seasons as of 2022 with the Cincinnati Reds. Votto is a 6 time all star and the 2010 NL MVP, becoming the third Canadian to win an MVP award in MLB after Larry Walker and Justin Morneau. Votto is also a seven time winner of the Tip O'Neill Award, second all time only to Larry Walker's nine. |

Description |
This is a pair of white and red leather and fabric batting gloves. The gloves each have a red Velcro fastener at the wrist, to adjust the fit. These fasteners each have on them a black, white, and red rubber MLB logo, and the number "19" printed in black on the backs, and a white and black "Franklin" logo on the palm side. The backs of the gloves each have a "Franklin" logo in black and white rubber applique. Above this, both gloves have silver MLB hologram authenticity stickers with the numbers "FJ 644858" on the left glove and "FJ 644859" on the right glove. There are two white elastic fabric stripes with a red leather section between these on the backs of the gloves. There is red fabric detailing between the glove fingers and on the backs of the gloves. The inner side (palm side) of the gloves are white leather. There are no tags nor a lining on the inside of the gloves. |

Des gants de frappeur fabriqués de cuir blanc et rouge et de tissu. Les gants ont un serrage au poignet fabriqué du ruban autoagrippant rouge. Ces serrages contiennent un logo en noir, blanc et rouge de la MLB en caoutchouc, un numéro « 19 » en noir et un logo de « Franklin » en caoutchouc noir et blanc. Un autre logo de « Franklin » en caoutchouc noir et blanc se trouve aux arrières des gants. Un autocollant d'authenticité holographique de la MLB se trouve au-dessous des logos à l’arrière. Les numéros d'authentification sont « FJ 644858 » au gant gauche et « FJ 644869 » au gant droite. Il y a deux rayures blanches élastiques et un morceau de cuir rouge aux arrières des gants. On trouve des détails en tissu rouge entre les doigts et aux arrières. Le côté intérieur est de cuir blanc. Il n’y a ni étiquettes ni doublage à l’intérieur des gants. |
