History

This is a set one, black Chicago White Sox jersey, worn by Kirk McCaskill.

Kirk McCaskill is a Canadian-American former Major League Baseball pitcher, and professional hockey player. McCaskill pitched for the California Angels from 1985-1991 and the Chicago White Sox from 1992-1996.

McCaskill was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003, along with Joe Carter, Richard Bélec, and the Vancouver Asahi.

Description

This is a black polyester button-down jersey. There are six white buttons down the front placket. There is white lettering applique with a grey outline on the front and reverse. The front has "25" and "Sox" across the chest. The reverse has "McCaskill" across the top, and "25" below. The edges of the sleeves are bordered by a white and a grey stripe. The proper left sleeve has a small grey embroidered diamond while the proper right sleeve has a small grey embroidered "Russell Athletic" logo. The proper left front shirt tail has a manufacturer's label with "Russell Athletic" and "Diamond Collection" displayed on it. Beneath this is a small tag with the text "92 Set 1", and another small flag tag with "100% Polyester" printed on it. Kirk McCaskill autographed both the front and reverse of the jersey in gold ink. Both autographs are directly below the number "25".

Un chandail noir à boutons fabriqué en polyester. Il y a six boutons blancs sur la platte. Sur les deux côtés du chandail, il y a un appliqué blanc avec un peu de gris qui trace le contour d'appliqué. À l'avant du chandail, on trouve le numéro « 25 » et le mot « Sox », mais à l'arrière, il y a le nom « McCaskill » et le numéro « 25 ». Kirk McCaskill a autographié chaque côté du chandail en encre doré. Les deux autographes sont toutes en bas des numéros « 25 ».
